Charming setting with lovely grounds and spacious rooms. The turret bathroom was a delightful feature, and the breakfast was satisfactory. The quiet atmosphere made for a peaceful getaway. Arriving with a furry friend? Their dog-friendly policies are a huge plus! A sentimental retreat made exceptional by the welcoming charm of it all.

the chateau was a lovely historical place, but the wi-fi, well, it could have been better, really. and the breakfast? don’t get me started, as I needed better service. I expected some special treatment, but got nothing. I really wanted to give a good review, but just couldn't.

Family with children good escape

This chateau was a real treat for our family, the grounds were expansive and beautiful! We enjoyed our breakfast served in a fine dining room, with plenty of fresh pastries and fruit to fuel our day, it felt like we were part of a fairy tale.

Not exactly budget-friendly for sure, but still manageable.

We enjoyed a lovely stay in a spacious Superior Double Room with nice views of the gardens. The breakfast was fantastic, featuring freshly baked pastries and local cheeses. We loved having a picnic in the beautiful outdoor areas. The decor throughout the chateau added a charming atmosphere, and the hosts were incredibly helpful with local tips.

Navigating the narrow, steep staircase to reach the top rooms presented a hassle with luggage, which might be a turn-off for those with more than a weekend bag. the absence of air conditioning could make warmer nights uncomfortable during the summer months for some guests. Limited dining options during the day required planning ahead, as there was no lunch or dinner service available.

I felt right at home in the beautifully decorated Ralph Lauren room, where I had stunning views of the front garden. The picnic basket was a delightful surprise, allowing me to enjoy a cozy meal in the lovely outdoor terrace. The breakfast spread was absolutely delightful, filled with local French delicacies that made my mornings feel special!

The local produce was a delight, and we loved exploring the lush grounds over a picnic! The castle is steeped in charm with impeccable decor. Plus, India, the adorable Labrador, added to our dog-friendly experience!

We had a bit of a climb to our room on the third floor, and handling luggage was tricky with no help available. The hotel felt a touch more empty than we expected with other guests at breakfast seeming sparse.
